About Me

Alongside my private practice, I have spent almost a decade as the Clinical Lead for an NHS Talking Therapies service. This role has allowed me to shape and improve therapy services for my local community, something I’m deeply passionate about.

My journey began in 2007 as a volunteer with Samaritans, where I learnt the power of truly listening. Since then, I’ve worked across the NHS, charities, and private practice, helping people with a wide range of difficulties - from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues. I also have particular interest in supporting LGBT+ clients and the development of personal awareness.

I take a collaborative approach, combining evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR with integrative counselling and hypnotherapy. This means we can adapt therapy to suit your needs, whether that’s learning practical tools, processing painful experiences, or exploring deeper patterns that hold you back.

I see therapy as a partnership. My role is to offer a safe, grounded space where you can be heard, understood, and supported to create the change you want in your life.

Hello, I’m Mark. I’ve been working as a psychotherapist since 2009, supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them find clarity, resilience, and growth.
